Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, rich in beautiful and magical beaches with breathtaking natural views. Naturism (or nudism) is not as widespread as in other areas, and offers only one officially recognized club, associated with Fenait (Italian Naturist Federation). This is the Le Peonie club, located at the foot of the Supramonte mountains in Dorgali.

However, during the low season, some beaches in Gallura, between the Costa Smeralda and Costa Paradiso, are popular with naturists. However, since they are not recognized and open to naturism, caution is advised as you may be fined by the Port Authority.

Some beaches suitable for this practice are located in San Teodoro and between Santa Teresa Gallura and Palau. Near the famous Porto Liscia beach, lies the lesser-known but splendid Serrato beach, an ideal area for nudists.

Other beaches, some on the east coast, others on the west, are perfectly suited to nudist enthusiasts. It's always recommended to practice with due respect, as they are all unregistered and therefore frequented by those who may not enjoy the practice.

Naturism is much more widespread in France, and there are numerous areas where this practice is open. Perhaps one day we too will overcome this taboo in Italy.
