Sea and Rocks Beach

In Pittulongu, connected to La Playa and Pellicano

The name itself reveals much of its identity. Mare e Rocce (Sea and Rocks) is the point where Pittulongu's long sandy beach begins to interact more openly with the granite: fine, light-colored sand, small rocky outcrops, and a transparent sea create a more complex landscape than nearby La Playa.

It's a secluded beach, nestled in a populated stretch of coastline yet retaining a pleasant marine feel. The rocks at the edge become small observation points over the gulf, making it interesting to explore the seabed with a mask and snorkel. Ahead, Tavolara once again dominates the scene, lending depth to one of the most popular and familiar stretches of coastline for Olbia residents.
