A long crescent of light sand, transparent water and Mediterranean scrub. The Impostu It is one of the large beaches in the San Teodoro area and one of the most evocative coastal landscapes in Gallura.

His name, translatable as “place of embarkation”, likely recalls the ancient function of this stretch of coast. Today, Lu Impostu is above all a place to immerse yourself in the extraordinary nature of northeastern Sardinia.

The beach extends for a long stretch and is characterized by fine sand and shallow waters that take on different hues depending on the light. Behind it, Mediterranean vegetation and wetlands contribute to an environment of great scenic and naturalistic interest.

Its location, a short distance from Cala Brandinchi and the Capo Coda Cavallo area, also makes Lu Impostu an ideal addition to an itinerary of the most beautiful beaches on the San Teodoro coast.

During the summer, it's a very popular destination, and as with other well-known beaches in the area, it's advisable to check access and parking availability before visiting.

However, Lu Impostu retains a profoundly natural dimension, especially during the quieter hours and outside of peak season. The sea, the light, and the landscape here create one of the most authentic images of the Gallura coast.
